We thought we would share with you how we created this simple Lolita inspired eye look on Sophie in Born?s recent photo-shoot.
We started by priming the eyes with MAC Pro Long-ware Paint Pot. Colour: Painterly. Making sure to carve out a good brow shape using a flat brush.
With a soft brush, we applied a light brown colour in to the eye crease and blended. Then we went in with a darker brown to build up and define the crease and blended again.
Following on we cut the crease with the MAC Pro Long-ware Paint Pot as we wanted a bright colour on the mobile lid. After cutting the crease we applied a white eye shadow over the mobile lid, covered the same area in glitter glue and then applied pink glitter from the ?Too Faced Glitter Bomb? palette.
A soft shimmer was added to the brow bone.
We lined the top lid, as thin as possible, with a black gel eyeliner from MAC.
Under the eye, we applied the darker crease colour to about 4mm thick and blended. Then applied a shocking pink shadow over the top, as close to the lash line as possible, and blended. We also added a black powder inner the eye about 2mm think but only went half way. Taking a blending brush, we blended the black to the inner corner of the eye giving it a soft defined look.
A soft shimmer was added to the corner of the eye and blended to brighten up the area.
Finally, we added false lashes and went over the lash line again with the black gel eyeliner to cover the lash band and neaten up the area.
We would love to see your eye looks and hear how you achieved them. If you have any questions please post your comments below.
All the best
